Ms. Dey is an Associate Attorney and the Financial Manager at Dickey & Campbell Law Firm, P.L.C.  She holds a B.A. in English from Cornell University and a graduate paralegal degree from the University of San Diego.  She earned her J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law, which has consistently been ranked number one in the United States for legal writing.

While completing her studies, Ms. Dey spent time working with the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division and the D.C. Public Defender Service, Institutional Services program advocating for institutionalized persons.  She has taught law and legal skills to high school and first year law students in Washington State, and continues to work with young legal-enthusiasts by judging high school mock trial competitions for the Iowa State Bar Association.  Most recently, Ms. Dey returned from Monrovia, Liberia where she spent six months with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, Legal Skills Center.  She developed the legal writing curriculum for the Legal Skills Center and taught both legal writing and other legal skills at the Center, in conjunction with the University of Liberia, Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law. 

Ms. Dey clerked with at Dickey & Campbell Law Firm, P.L.C. before accepting employment as the Associate Attorney and Financial Manager in December, 2009.  She is licensed in the State of Iowa and is also admitted to practice before the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Southern District of Iowa.  She will be primarily practicing in the area of appellate and post conviction relief.
